Julie graduated from her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy (Remedial Massage) from RMIT in 2010, while also completing a Cert III & IV in Fitness at the same time.
Since graduating, Julie has gone on to work in multiple multi-disciplinary health clinics; gaining experience from working alongside other practitioners such as Pilates instructors, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Acupuncturists & Podiatrists. She has also gained experience in both corporate and sporting settings including cycling, AFL, rugby and athletics.
Julie continues to enjoy learning about the human body and how Myotherapy can influence it for the better. She has gone on to study Pre & post-natal treatment (pregnancy support), manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), and many other treatment approaches such as the role of neuroplacticity in musculoskeletal health. In 2017, Julie is focusing her learning on Oncology treatment - specifically how Myotherapy can help those with cancer.
Outside of work Julie likes to read and watch documentaries about health, nutrition and the environment. She likes to keep active with activities such as; pilates, going to the gym, cycling, hiking, gardening, & occasionally, an obstacle event.
